Group Benefits Account Manager

Remote - Jacksonville, FL

The Account Manager is the primary client relationship manager for a designated book of business within our Group Benefits Division.

The ideal candidate demonstrates outstanding communication skills with clients, carriers, broker partners, and internal teams, along with well-developed and confident presentation abilities. Success in this role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively support multiple client accounts.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for Agency assigned clients, building long-term, trusted relationships
  • For PEO assigned clients, coordinate with PEO Client Experience Team & Benefit Operations to ensure client needs are met
  • Manage annual renewals and new client proposals, including data collection, and presentations
  • Coordinate implementation of new plans and carriers, including enrollment and communication support
  • Prepare and review insurance quotes, proposals, and policy documents
  • Advise clients on benefit plan design and funding strategies
  • Handle ongoing escalated service needs such as eligibility changes, billing issues, claims, and vendor coordination
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records in the agency management systems
  • Stay current on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes
  • Stay current on market trends, carrier products, and regulatory changes
